Boston Celtics “escape” before Miami Heat, straight to NBA Finals 2022
The Boston Celtics were once again “missed” before their opponents in the Playoffs, but this time, the tenacity of Jayson Tatum and his teammates brought worthy results.
Within 3 minutes, the Boston Celtics from a 13-point lead over the Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Finals nearly dropped their victory again, allowing the opponent to narrow the gap to 2 points.

The whole Heat team defended well enough to have a chance to equalize and even win with a 3-point ball. Unfortunately, Jimmy Butler, the hero of Miami during the Eastern Finals series as well as this Playoffs, missed.

The extremely confident 3-point pull-up of the superstar wearing the number 21 shirt lacked power, brought the ball to the Celtics and also lost the home team’s chance to win.

The sadness of Miami Heat fans is joy for Boston fans. Their team successfully defended the advantage and won right away.

The trio of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart scored a total of 74 points, helping the Celtics overcome the Heat with a score of 100-96 to become the NBA Eastern champion.

On the other side of the line, Jimmy Butler did all he could with 35 points, playing the full 48 minutes without a break.

Bam Adebayo is right behind him with 25 points. The Butler – Adebayo pair had an FG ratio of 56%, but the remaining Heat players only got 25% of FG and scored a total of 36 points.

This is probably Miami’s “deadline” even though it is played at home.The satellites have not played well enough or “hot hands” too late as in the case of Max Strus and Victor Oladipo.

Thus, the Boston Celtics will face the Golden State Warriors at the 2022 NBA Finals, the first time in the final series since 2010. This promises to be an interesting series when the two teams bring two extremes.

On one side is a young, enthusiastic team that has just been tested through a series of difficult challenges. The other side is a team that has a lot of experience in the big arena, and is also the team that won the most championships in the whole decade.
